fearopolis’ faq

A: It’s designed for ages 10+ but younger kids are welcome with a parent’s discretion. While Fearopolis isn’t the most extreme haunted house out there, it’s packed with surprises and plenty of screams — and we hear them echoing all season long! The Zombie Battle Bus is more action than fear, so it’s great for most ages.

A: No, you sit safely on the bus while you and other participants shoot zombies outside of the bus. Paintball guns cannot be maneuvered to shoot inside the bus. Zombies will not shoot back! Finally a game of paintball that doesn’t leave you bruised!

A: The haunted house takes around 10–15 minutes to walk through. The Zombie Battle Bus experience lasts about 15–20 minutes. If you have the combo ticket you may want to account for 30 min at Funopolis – yet if you do not redeem your Go Kart or Mini Golf on the night due to running out of time, you can redeem on another visit! How great!

A: Absolutely — and we recommend it! Grab a combo ticket to save PLUS the combo ticket gives you Mini Golf or Go Karts at Funopolis which is open from 11am-10pm the days of the Haunt. Come before the sun goes down and enjoy Funopolis attractions and a feast or drink at the Funopolis Cafe.

A: Outside food and drinks aren’t allowed, but concessions are available on-site of Fearopolis and more extensive menu including beer and wine are available at the Funopolis Cafe all night.

A: Yes, inside Funopolis you can purchase an assortment of beer or wine for those 21 and above who present a valid ID.

A: Yes, this attraction is not recommended for those with heart conditions, epilepsy, claustrophobia, or any serious medical conditions. The experience includes intense audio, strobe lights, fog, sudden scares, and confined spaces that may trigger medical episodes.

A: Email the team using our contact form or call (706) 335-3866 extension 4.

A: Fearopolis isn’t just Commerce’s scariest haunted house — we’re a short drive from Athens, Gainesville, Buford, Gwinnett, Braselton, Winder, Jefferson and other North Georgia towns. We have also seen many guests come from South Carolina and Atlanta since we are one of the largest Halloween attractions in our area. We are only an hour drive from the heart of Atlanta. Every weekend in October, thrill seekers from across the region come for terrifying fun.

A: Walk-ups are welcome, but tickets can sell out on busy nights. Booking online guarantees your spot.

A: Comfortable closed toe shoes are recommended for walking through Haunted House.

A: Yes — free parking is available in the field at Fearopolis or in parking lot of Funopolis. To get to Fearopolis, go in the Funopolis driveway. Take a right once you get to the building and proceed passed the paved parking lot to the grass. Follow the signs to parking and to the ticket booth of Fearopolis.

A: If it is raining hard or severe weather, we recommend you calling Funopolis to see if Fearopolis is paused or going ahead. The haunted house does have some uncovered areas so rain can cause operational issues if its severe.

A: Unfortunately at this time this attraction is not accessible to wheelchairs or strollers. People with canes and crutches are also not recommended to participate.

A: Yes! Groups of 15+ can book at a reduced rate — book groups here or if you wish to pay at the door, we require an RSVP at least 24 hours in advance by using our RSVP Form  or calling (706) 335-3866 extension 4.
